1. Agreement
These Terms apply to the Libra Media Player iOS application, including later updates and related Libra-operated services unless separate terms are provided. By installing, accessing, or using Libra, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Libra. Libra is provided by Seven, referred to as “we” or “us.”
Apple’s applicable TestFlight, App Store, Apple Media Services, and standard end-user license terms may also apply. If a mandatory rule conflicts with these Terms, that mandatory rule controls.
2. What Libra provides
Libra is a client application that helps you discover, organize, and play media from servers and services you choose. Libra does not sell, supply, upload, or host the movies, shows, subtitles, comments, or other media you access.
Features may depend on your device, operating system, network, media format, server configuration, and third-party service availability.
3. TestFlight and beta software
A TestFlight or otherwise identified beta version is pre-release software. It may contain errors, lose compatibility, consume additional resources, change without notice, or fail to play particular media. Do not rely on a beta as your only copy of important information.
We may limit tester capacity, builds, features, or access and may end a beta at any time. Feedback is voluntary unless a separate testing agreement says otherwise.
4. Eligibility and authority
You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use Libra for an organization or household, you confirm that you have permission to configure the relevant accounts, devices, servers, and services.
5. Your responsibilities
- Use only accounts, servers, libraries, network routes, and media that you are authorized to access.
- Comply with copyright, privacy, export, sanctions, and other laws that apply to you and your media.
- Protect your devices, server credentials, access tokens, exported archives, and diagnostics.
- Review the security of any HTTP server, reverse proxy, custom API, icon manifest, or danmaku service you configure.
- Do not use Libra or its gateway to attack, overload, scrape, probe, bypass limits, distribute malware, or interfere with other users or services.
6. Third-party services and content
Emby servers, TMDB, Trakt, Apple services, danmaku services, infrastructure providers, network providers, and other services are operated by third parties. Their content, availability, accounts, security, and terms are outside Libra’s control.
A reference to a third-party name, mark, API, or website does not imply sponsorship or endorsement. You are responsible for satisfying any third-party terms that apply to your use.
7. Permission to use Libra
Subject to these Terms and Apple’s applicable rules, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable permission to install and use Libra on supported devices for lawful purposes.
Libra includes open-source software licensed directly to you by its respective authors. Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted by those open-source licenses, including any applicable right to inspect, modify, replace, reverse engineer for debugging modifications, or relink covered libraries.
8. Ownership and feedback
Libra’s original application code, branding, interface, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party software, data, images, and marks remain owned by their respective rights holders.
If you provide suggestions or bug reports, you allow us to use them to improve Libra without payment or an obligation to implement them. Do not submit confidential information you are not authorized to disclose.
9. Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend, or remove Libra features when needed for security, compatibility, legal compliance, or product development. We do not promise that every server, format, codec, subtitle, route, or third-party service will work.
You are responsible for maintaining backups of information that matters to you and for keeping your personal media server available and secure.
10. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Libra and its beta builds are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded in your jurisdiction.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost media, data, profits, access, or goodwill arising from Libra, a beta build, your server, or a third-party service.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. This section does not limit liability that the law prohibits us from limiting.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Libra at any time. We may suspend access to a beta, gateway, or other Libra-operated service when reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure, legal compliance, or service integrity, including for a material breach of these Terms.
Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, open-source rights, disclaimers, and liability limits—continue to apply.
13. Applicable law, changes, and contact
These Terms are governed by applicable law without limiting mandatory consumer protections or rules that cannot be waived. Libra is developed by Seven.
